304 quality belongs to the Austenitic stainless group and is the most commonly used type of stainless.
The share of austenitic steels in stainless steel production is close to 75%.
Its basic composition consists of 18% chromium and 8% nickel elements.
They are not magnetic, they do not hold magnets
Hardening and heat treatment cannot be applied
It has very good corrosion resistance
It is hygienic
Weldability properties are good
It can be shaped. Cold forming properties are very good.
Scale formation does not occur up to 850 ºC. -
