  • Under normal conditions, brass is a heavy and tough material. Impact resistance is good, but might be heavy for a fast rotating gear. We are happy to have produced brass 0.4 module gears for fast robots and projects with our manufacturing capabilities at JSumo.


    Suitable for usage with 2mm shaft motors (can be easily enlarged to 3mm), This bundle is designed for using good reduction ratio with the lightest option possible.

    Presicion machined 0,4 module gear set. Total reduction is 5:1. After the main big gear is processed on the cutting benches, 68% of its weight is processed in the CNC vertical machining centers. (reduced from 16 grams to 5 grams)

    Its main usage area is designed as line following robots and lightweight, featherweight combat robots.

    Bundle includes 2 gears for 1 stage.

    • Motor Pinion – 16 Tooth
    • Big spur gear – 80 tooth

    Total weight is gear bundle is only 8.4 grams!

    Big Spur Gear: 32.87 mm Diameter, 3.3mm Thickness.
    Pinion Gear: 7.25 mm Diameter, 9.75mm Thickness (Gear Width is 4.3mm)
